Next NCT meeting August 16

[joh...@comicsworthreading.com]

Hello, friends,

The next meeting of the Notorious Canary-Trainers will be this coming Sunday, August 16, at 3 PM. The story to be discussed is "The Adventure of the Creeping Man”.

Originally published in 1923, Watson tells us this was one of Holmes’ last cases before his retirement.

I won’t be able to join you, as I’ll be on my way to London, but Kevin and Mary have offered to host. Please respond to them if you need their address.

I hope you all have a great time!

Yes, we are hosting this month's meeting. A refresher:

"Rancho Cerro"

1729 Hidden Hill Drive

Verona  53593

Hawks Landing neighborhood, which is actually in Madison city limits but the mailman puts us in "Verona".

We'll meet below decks and the fabulous Mermaid Lounge will be open for anyone requiring refreshment!  Coffee and tea will be available, too, and perhaps some light snack things.

Mary, aka Silver Blaze,  can answer any questions via text, as well, at 512-529-7237.

Luego!

Kevin

Keven/Mary - thanks for hosting. Is there anything we can bring - nibbles, magnifying glasses, maybe an Irish wolfhound?

Nothing is required, but everyone is welcome to bring their favorite snack or any special needs. We don't have a big stock of soft drinks on hand, for example.

if you want something in particular, haul it in!

Hi all - unfortunately we won’t be able to make the Madison trek today. Guess we’ll discuss the story at home.  Also we’ll miss September as we’re just be flying back from Brussels.

Enjoy the meeting.
