This month we will be discussing The Adventure of the Three Students. This story was first published in The Strand Magazine In June 1904 and then In Collier's in September 1904. I find it interesting that it was published later in the U.S. when last month's story was published earlier in the U.S. than it was in Great Britain. The story became one of the thirteen stories that was published as The Return of Sherlock Holmes in 1905.

Although this story was released as a silent movie in 1923, it really has not been popular enough to have it made into movies since then. There have been many radio adaptations. I have some profound thoughts about this story, but I'm saving them for the meeting.

Our group will meet on Sunday, March 16 at the Fitchburg Public Library. We will start at 3:00 pm and should last until 4:30 pm. As usual, feel free to bring guests.

I recently caught up with the Gatiss adaptation of Lot No. 249 for BBC Christmas special. I think it goes really well with 3STU. If you haven't watched it, this would be a good opportunity to seek it out.
