to Notorious Canary-Trainers
Hi all,
I think I mentioned it at the appropriate Canary Trainers meeting (somewhere between FINA and Hound Part 1), but the Field Bazaar is a very short, amusing little tale that was written during the Great Hiatus by Arthur Conan Doyle as a fundraiser in The Student in 1896 (three years after he killed Holmes, if you'll recall).
It's still a fun read and reminds me a bit of the Raffles stories that were very soon to follow (the first in 1899), in particular the Field of Philippi
