A couple of years ago, my wife and I went on a leaf-peeping tour in the Northeast US in October—we arrived in Maine and traveled across New Hampshire to Vermont, from whence we departed for home. Along the way, one of our favorite stops was the M/S Mount Washington cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee (made famous in the 1991 film What About Bob?). Of course, I ended up on their mailing list and I've enjoyed news from that part of the world for the most part. I'm not sure how they're going to pull this one off, but they've just announced that they are holding a murder-mystery dinner cruise! The first of its kind that I have heard of (but I'm sure it's not the first).

Sounds like a lot of fun.

Some think the event is an attempt to divert attention from the scandals that have plagued the town in recent months. Passengers not only have to investigate the murder, but they also become the suspects. By the end of the cruise, guests must figure out who did it, how they did it, and why. There will be clues that show that the murderer, and no one else on the cruise, had motive and opportunity to commit the murder.
