Banquet Options

Hey y'all!

TL;DR: Preference between 1/4 or 1/18? Is lunch at Nonno's okay?

We've got a decision to make (and I believe we discussed this with the folks that were at the meeting and their preference was for the later date) about the January Birthday Luncheon.

As promised, I scoped out some places, and inspired by the Coffee and Curaçao at Goldini's Restaurant in "The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans," we're going Italian! I think probably Nonno's Ristorante on Whitney Way, unless anyone objects.

The BSI New York weekend is the 7th-11th, so the Sunday before (the 4th of January) or after (the 18th) are our best options. At the meeting in the library, we all mostly said the 4th was a little close to Jan 1 for comfort, but I'm willing to hear out any other opinions or strong objections.

If I don't hear any, I'll see if they'll book us for a group of 10-15. You don't need to RSVP now, but a headcount closer to the luncheon date will be helpful.

I probably couldn’t make the 4th, given travel for family holidays, so I liked the 18th date, which is when we’d normally meet anyways.

My preference is for Jan. 18, to avoid a conflict with Diogenes. Nonno's sounds like a good option.
