I must have missed the announcement—what with Brewers making it to the National League Championship Series (that they're losing 2-0 right now) Packers looking like a Super Bowl contendor and book clubs, Zooms, Holmes in the Heartland, and all...but I just found out that the Gillette Luncheon registration is open and announced!

When it rains it pours, I looked to see if the ACD awards and Wessex Cup had been announced yet—yep, AND a save the date/time for the Literary Agents #5! Check back in at the ACD Society website for more info. The Thursday event usually overlaps/conflicts with the Morley Walk, so you'll need to make a choice of which to attend (or at least, cut short your walk).

There will soon be instructions here on how YOU can become a horse jockey or trainer for a "horse" in the Wessex Cup! (I've found the horses are usually quite small, even for ponies.)
