Following this year’s successful event, the External Relations team is planning another CSC Research Day for the spring semester, where faculty will present a brief overview of their work (10 minutes) to industry and alumni contacts, including members of our Strategic Advisory Board, many with deep ties to the tech industry.
We've settled on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, for this event. We'll host faculty talks in the morning, followed by a networking lunch, and posters from graduate students immediately following.
We've had one round of speaker signups for the newer faculty (thanks to those who have responded), but we still have a few slots remaining. If you are interested, please email Leslie (CC'd) and let her know:
- What time(s) of the day would you be available on 3/4/26 for a 10 minute talk?
- The general research area(s) you'll be discussing (cybersecurity, software, cyber-physical systems, computer systems, networks, computer assisted learning, AI/ML, theory, etc.).
If it works out from a scheduling perspective, I will try to group research areas together so that industry visitors can choose the time they attend accordingly.
The Grad Student Association is handling student signup for posters. If you'd like to have your lab open for student posters (12:30-2:30). Let me know.
Take care,
Leslie
