SPRING SEMINAR
Our final spring SIAM seminar will be next Wednesday, April 14, at 3:30pm
in SAS 2106. Our speaker will be Scott Pope, who received his PhD from
NCSU last year. Scott currently works at SAS as a numerical analyst, and
he'll share his experience working for the #1 "Best company to work for"
(according to Fortune magazine). We'll have snacks and sodas, so please
join us!
OFFICER ELECTIONS
Also, SIAM is looking for new officers for next year! If you are
interested in being a SIAM officer (or are curious about what we do),
please email me and I'll give you the scoop. Being an officer in a
student organization (SIAM / MGSA) is a great cv/resume builder, so please
think about it and let me know if you're interested!
