Hi all,
I wanted you to know that this has been the best Sunshine Week our SCJ Chapter has had thus far. The two events we sponsored, coordinated were, although small, very successful.
Many thanks to all of you who helped, participated. I look forward to finishing up the year discussing and brainstorming with you how we can do even better next year!
Special thanks are in order to:
-May and Meredith for their diligence, persistence, ushering and ENTHUSIASM to do whatever to make things happen,
-Drew and Tommy for their efforts at contacting panelists, arranging for venues, the cotton candy/popcorn machines, and PSA's
-Sarah and Lucia for their help with the fliers,
-Alanna for making the movie arrangements,
-Kate for being the best cotton candy maker ever,
-Amanda, Chelsey, Jeniece, Jordan, Kathryn, Kierra, Luis, Michael, Sarah, Tim, for ushering and just being around to help out in general,
-Alex and Elise for covering the panel discussion (and then learning why they shouldn't have),
-Alex and Tommy for their help cleaning up and returning the cotton candy and popcorn machines,
-and last, but not least, Bradley, Krystal and Tyler for pitching in and helping me tie up loose ends, finish the fliers, get things to the printer, ads placed & run, etc., etc., etc., at the last minute, and their encouragement, support and ideas.
I hope I haven't forgotten anyone or left anything out - you're all awesome and it couldn't have happened without you - thank you again!
