You are cordially invited to the Pack 951 Welcome Back Pool Party!

 

In lieu of our first Pack Meeting, we will gather at Briar Chapel Swimming Pool on Wednesday, August 23rd from 6:00-8:00 to swim, have fun, and eat pizza.

 

Bring your bathing suit and towel.  We will give a swim test for scouts so everybody can be certified for activities all year.

 

We're aware of the issues Briar Chapel has had with its pool this year.  All appears to be fine now, but we have a backup plan just in case.  Check your e-mail next week; we'll send an update if anything changes. 

Also, our Fall Campout will take place on the weekend of September 15-16th at Jordan Lake.  Please save the date!  We'll send out additional information/details as we get closer to that event. 

Family members are welcome to join us at the pool. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note, we are keeping an eye on the weather for tomorrow's back-to-scouting pool party at the Briar Chapel Pool.  If storms loom, we will get an email out to parents by 4:30 PM.  

If you do not hear from us, assume the party is on!

Scouts and families,

Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating with us.  The pool at Briar Chapel has already been closed once for thunder and radar shows more storms on the way.  We are canceling the pool party this evening, but will reschedule and send out the new information shortly.

Scouts and Parents, 

We were able to reschedule the Pool Party to this Wednesday, August 30th, from 6-8 pm.  I look forward to seeing you all there!

Reminder that we also have our recruiting roundup at Briar Chapel (right in front of the pool) today from 2-4.  Please feel free to come out and meet new scouts who are interested in joining our Pack.  We will set up the GaGa Pit and have a leather working activity for the boys.
