to NCNM-sPSR
sPSR

meeting to determine interests and ideas for 2009/2010 school year.
Attended by Craig, Angela, Tineke

Elections? We will have elections at the end of week one fall
quarter.
President, event coordination, communications, treasurer.

I (Tineke) will act as President for the time being. I don’t have an
interest in this position for the next school year, but I would be
willing to help whoever is interested in stepping up get all the
information they need to do the job. Please consider taking this club
to the next level, it is a great national organization to be involved
with! Our profession is very well received by and represented on a
national level by PSR. They have fabulous resources for us to
utilize.

Craig has volunteered to be acting treasurer, Angela acting
communications.

I will get the constitution and by-laws revisions completed and
turned in to SGA, so that we will be officially recognized and have
club funds available.
Angela will send an email out to the entire NCNM community inviting
people to join our club by getting put on the listserve now and taking
part in the elections when they come up in Fall.

Events: Orientation –Matt Burns will keep me in the loop about when
and where this will be done.
Scheduling community hour: We will not schedule for community hour
during fall quarter. We need to get more people active before doing
this.

Ideas for future events: Get someone from Oregon PSR group or NCNM
student to present at grand rounds or a community hour. PSR national
has several programs. We have done this in years past and it has been
very well attended.

Communications person –pass on all information about seminars, news,
from PSR, Oregon PSR, sPSR, EAC, CHE, etc.

Budget: Funds through NCNM club/student fee –to pay for food for
community hour.
SPSR national 2010-nominate someone to attend and get SGA/NCNM to pay,
raise funds….

We have Room 107 Friday of week 2 reserved for 5:30-8:30 for a film
event to be coordinated with EAC.
