Benefit for the work of Physicians for Social Responsibility by Pam
Vergun and St. Johns Books:
Pam Vergun to read from A Dimly Burning Wick, at St. Johns Books in
Portland Oregon!
Tickets are only $5, which includes a $3 donation to the work of
Physicians for Social Responsibility and refreshments. All those
holding tickets will receive a $2 discount that evening for purchasing
a copy of A Dimly Burning Wick. Dr. Vergun will be available after her
talk to sign books.
Dr. Vergun's talk will not include graphic descriptions of the event
that would be particularly disturbing to children, in keeping with the
tone of the book itself. (Two of the chapters have been published as
children’s picture books.)
