Tim Wiwel's school launched flying now... achieved 102,000 feet and is on its way down.

While I'm not there physically, my APRS setup is flying with the paoad and can be tracked here

Hoping for an easy retrieval and great photos...

Rodney:
MANY, MANY thanks to you and your HW,   The APRS really made this trip fun.    We will have some YouTube videos posted next week.

We were in a Rocky Mount McDonald's when it broke 100k.  People were looking at us quite strangely, huddled around a latop cheering.

It landed at the edge of a soybean field.  Was in hand 20 minutes after it hit the ground.

Tim.

Great job Tim - looking forward to seeing the photos/videos.

I hope you can join us for the Memorial Day launch as I liked your ideas for the balloon fill and verifying lift before tying off the balloon.  Would love for you to work with us to show us new ways to do it.

However, for those near the Hydrogen, it would be a good idea to take the hydrogen course linked off of the arhab website.  It took me about 1.5 hours to get through it, and I'll admit I learned a few things I didn't expect, so definitely worth a watch.
