Who are my balloon dogs for our 5/11 hydrogen launch?   I am one; I saw Jeff Highsmith was working his way through H2 safety, so I presume (...Jeff, confirm?) that's two.  Evan Daniel is going to be there, but it's not clear to me whether he's going to be a balloon dog or a safety officer, so I need one or the other of those.

Probable job of the third balloon dog is just to stand by and try to keep the balloon from blowing around if it gets windy... should be easy, I just want to have a quick conversation with whoever is involved beforehand, since H2 is a new thing to us.  (Email is fine, of course.)  Prefer somebody who's not going to be prepping the payload/telemetry; would be nice if payload team can be working on getting radio sync and powerup cycle done while the flight team is filling the balloon--rather not waste battery by doing payload 1st or have to control a H2 balloon by filling first.  If anybody else wants to volunteer, I wouldn't mind having extras 'on standby', though 3 should be plenty...

I have H2 and a regulator which should be delivered next week.  Balloon is in my house.  R's put a ton of work into the payload, so y'all thank him (and offer him help if you can).

I haven't finished the safety course yet, but I will. My intent was to just make things safer, but I can probably be a balloon dog, as long as it's something y'all can teach me real quick. I've never been to a launch before.

My small contribution to the telemetry shouldn't require any adjustments or even attention by me. It's just a couple web pages.

I was planning to bring a video camera and tripod to get at least a wide shot of the prep and launch, and if I have no other duties, maybe some close ups for a little compilation video of the whole mission. Can we call it a mission? That puts us another step closer to having custom embroidered mission patches.

Jeff :)

I'll be there for the launch and will be happy to help in anyway I
can. I'll read up on the H2 safety requirements.
