We plan to meet up at the Lake Wheeler boathouse at 0700EDT tomorrow morning. We will prep and hope to launch around 0800. Landing predictions, at the moment, show it landing just north of there around 1030. If it pops well under 100kft then it should land in Garner. Well over and it would land in Cary. Hopefully we will land at the NC State Ice Cream Shop and not in Yates Mill Pond.
Feel free to join us on the launch, chase, or both!
We are flying under the call-sign KD4BFP. You should be able to follow along at:

The weather forecast for Saturday morning sure changed. We are now hoping to fly early SUNDAY morning. Perhaps launch around 0800-0830EDT before it gets too hot. We are still not sure of the launch point yet but it at least will be in southern or eastern Wake County.

Weather is looking good for a flight Saturday morning. It is still too early to lock-in a launch site, but I suspect it will be in southeast Wake county. More to come...
