An unwelcome bit of news

Dear all,

Events are conspiring against me--I may not be able to attend the meeting this Friday or be present during the event on Saturday.  (My wife is on-call this weekend, and the friends my daughter was going to stay with just had a death in their immediate family.  Kind of trumps my "But I wanna go to Santa Cruz!" whine.)  

Anyway, I'm working on it, but it doesn't look good, right now.  It is *highly* unlikely I'll be able to attend.

I suggest postponing the Fall NCIFL meeting to prior to our next event, which will likely be at Poly—who would necessarily have to host--or we'd hold the meeting in a hotel room/resto/cafe...some place we can meet.

Would it be possible to get a consensus from everyone on if we will have the meeting by tomorrow morning? I'll need to notify the school that we won't be using the room if it comes to that.
