Welcome to the North Carolina Green Party Actions Group. You have been invited to this group because you have signed up to be a dues-paying member of the NCGP. Per NCGP bylaws, all members of this group must be dues-paying members of the NCGP and must be registered to vote as "Unaffiliated" when we don't have ballot access or as "Green" when we do.

This group exists to provide important announcements, information, and calls to action for the membership to enhance the party’s functionality and vitality. Participation requires that each member express themselves in a civil and cooperative manner, avoiding personal admonitions or a hostile tone. Topical news/event items, questions, and appropriate suggestions/requests are most welcome.

Group Policies

This group is for discussion of party-related business. It is the official forum for the NCGP Coordinating Committee to communicate party business and announcements with membership and for membership to communicate with the Coordinating Committee and other members. Members may make and discuss proposals in this forum. Topics of general interest unrelated to party business should not be posted here. Please use the various Facebook groups for that purpose. Articles should not be posted here unless the poster provides 1) a summary of the article that includes 2) notice about why the article is relevant to party business and 3) a proposed action we should take. Please sign you posts with full name, location, and position within the NCGP. Anonymous members are not allowed; all members must use a name. Please be considerate of email clutter before posting: Does your post need to go to all NCGP members in the state, or just one or two people? If just one or two, please refrain from posting to the entire group. Keep all discussions civil. Name-calling or other personal attacks won't be tolerated.

Download and print the NCGP Ballot Access Petition. An easy start is by signing it yourself and asking friends and family to sign.
Read our Tips, Instructions, and Script for collecting signatures. Quick note: You need to write a county name at the top of each petition sheet, in pen, and then signers of that sheet must be registered to vote in that county—so you will need several sheets and will need to write different county names at the tops.
Share our Petitioning Page with your friends and comrades and ask them to sign up to petition.
Send a prewritten email to Gov. Cooper, asking him to grant us petitioning relief during Covid. Because we shouldn't have to petition during a global pandemic in the first place.
