The paper guidelines for SemEval-2021 are now available!
Each participating system is strongly encouraged to submit a paper.
The deadline is Feb 23, and papers may be up to 5 pages long
(excluding references).
Submitting a paper does not obligate you to attend the workshop in
August (held as a part of ACL-IJCNLP 2021) - you may publish your
paper without attending (although we hope you will consider being a
part of the workshop).
You can find more details on the expectations for papers here :
https://semeval.github.io/paper-requirements.html.
and the following site provides a suggested structure for your paper,
and some ideas about what you should plan to cover.
https://semeval.github.io/system-paper-template.html
There is an overleaf template available which we would strongly suggest using :
https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/instructions-for-acl-ijcnlp-2021-proceedings/mhxffkjdwymb
You can also use the Word or Latex templates provided here :
https://2021.aclweb.org/downloads/acl-ijcnlp2021-templates.zip
Note that SemEval papers are *not* anonymous, and must follow a
specific naming convention for the paper title which is described in
the sites above.
If you submit a paper *all* the authors of your paper will be expected
to review a few other papers from our task. This will be a great way
to learn about what other teams did and how that compares to your own
work.
Each author of your paper should make sure to be registered with the
START system - this will be necessary when you submit your paper, and
also for assigning reviews. You can sign up for START here (it is
free), and this is also the site we will use for submitting papers and
doing our reviews.

Please let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to
reading about your systems!
Cordially,
Ted (on behalf of the NLPContribution SharedTask organizers)
