About paper

Dear Organizers,

Could you help me solve these two questions?

1. Should only one author or all authors register the START system?

2. Should we remove header and footer(page number) in our paper?

Dear Genyu,

Very good questions.

All authors must be registered with the START system. If they are not,
they will not appear as authors of the paper. Also remember that all
authors will be asked to participate in paper reviewing. We'll have
more details about that once we have gotten past the submission
deadline.

You do not need to worry about page numbers of headers on your paper -
the template that we are to use takes care of all of that for us.

Below are some guidelines about preparing your system description
paper. Note that reviewing is not blind, so author names and
affiliations should be included on the version you submit by Feb 23.
Also, SemEval has a particular naming convention for papers. Your
title should be of the form

TeamName at SemEval-2021 Task 11: [descriptive title here]

TeamName should be the name you indicated on the survey as being what
you would use in your paper.

These are template files you must use to create your paper. You have
the choice of using overleaf, or downloading a .tex or Word file.
These will take care of all issues like setting margins, page numbers
(you won't see any btw), formatting references, etc.

BTW, just to clarify my answer, page numbering is taken care of later
on (as we move closer to publication). You do not include page numbers
on your submissions - all numbering, formatting, etc. is taken care of
by the templates we use.

Regarding headings - if you mean section headings like Introduction,
System Description, Results, etc. then those are numbered
automatically with the template - you may name those as you wish,
although the guidelines provided by SemEval provide good suggestions
for section heading names.
