..at Gallery 101, 236 Nepean, btwn Bank & Kent, $5 at the door, 7:00
... PRISONS COME HOME, MELPOMENE, HING LUNG, AUDIO SHAKUHACHI are all
playing...
and of course this morning I woke up with a runny nose and a really
scratchy throat, so I'm not sure how good vox for Melpomene will be, but
eh, I can fake it.
But I'm drinking chamomile tea with honey so Life Is Good.
So come, y'all... it will be fun-O.
You can bring me Kleenex and tea.
I was walking home last night from Baseline after grabbing the last 95
home (word to the wise: last 95 leaves Bank&Albert at 2:17 a.m.; last 97
at 2:04... last 95 from Lincoln Fields to Baseline is at 2:30... this is
all weekdays of course) and as I walked I reflected on this crazy business
of having turned 18.
What does it mean that the law recognizes me as an adult? *I* don't.
I'm still living at home, I don't have a job, I'm a lousy cook. Oh well.
Oh, if you can't make it to tonight's show, you can come to one on January
3, same bat-time, same bat-channel, same bat-admission... with BEAUTIFUZZ,
MELPOMENE, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, & SUBLIMINAL TORTURE.
Blah. my thoughts are hanging on too much sleep and too little coffee, or
possibly the other way around (or at least so it was at 3:00 a.m. last
night when i got home). (Isn't "3:00 a.m. Last Night" a strange group
of words to put together?)
Take care, y'all... ...jane...
