Once, the attendent begged the great master to take his food medecine
(1). The
great master said :
- No, I won't.
Asked :
- Why don't you take it ?
The great master said :
- Can not diggest it.
Asked :
- Who could digest ?
The great master said :
- The one who does not offend sex rule. (2)
Asked :
- Then why Sir, you could not digest it ?
The great master raised his silk belt (3) and said :

Notes

(1) In Buddhism it is not allowed to eat past noon. The rule has been
changed in
China, as monks must work for food. They eat 3 times. To avoid
conflicting with
ole rules, they called the other meals medecine food.
(2) Original text : u+u ba` su+., I don't know how to translate it.
TTTNL says it is
the rule about sex.
(3) Original text : silk robe. TTTNL translates it as belt.
(4) Wow !
