Either she is deliberately ignoring the evidence, or she hasn't got a clue.
Her Law Commission's Preliminary Paper 41 Battered Defendants, on letting
women get away with
murder is careful not to say that men hit their female partners more often
than women hit their
male partners - yet she admits saying that to The Dominion newspaper (14
August 2000)!
I'm sure you're not so stupid as to believe TVNZ's propaganda. The annotated

scholarly investigations,
94 empirical studies and 23 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that
women are as
physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships
with their spouses or
male partners.
To back up her claim, Judge Margaret Lee cited just two studies on spousal
murder (not domestic
violence), one unrelated Law Commission report (which actually lists NO
study that compared men
with women as to domestic violence) - plus the experience of herself and
other judges that more
men than women are prosecuted for domestic violence.
If you were a man, and your wife had assaulted you, would YOU make a
complaint to the police -
not likely !! Policemen are macho, Policewomen are hardly less biased
against men, and they
have all been programmed by Man-Haters to arrest the man first and think
later !!!
I challenge Judge Margaret Lee to sue me if she has a case;
I call on the Law Commission to sack her for ignoring inconvenient evidence
(such as the
studies above) in her Paper, and for citing the junk-science book "Battered
Women"

Rubbish.
She is a very shrewd and competent Judge as I found when giving prosecution
evidence in her court several years ago.
If you disagree with the Law Commission's findings, then discuss and rebut
the findings and stop attacking people. There will be plenty of opportunity
to make submissions on this matter.
