Out of interest, what do the people on this SIG feel are the
root causes of battering, rape and other forms of violence that
some men commit against women?

What do you think are some of the solutions to combat the roots
of this violence?

Many people, regardless of their race, gender, religion or sexual
orientation, are evil.

Well, as Malcolm X once so eloquently put it
"white men are a cross between a rat and a dog".

In other words, white males are the root of all obesity
among lesbians, and it a genetically incurable trait.
The only solution is the annihalation of Western Democracy.

You mean other than homicidal inner-city gang violence?
Education. Eventually, through education,
all white males will become gay and leave women
alone forever.

I would suggest that it has been abuse inflicted upon them (boys to men),
and a small percentage that don't give a dam about anyone - regardless of
their sex.

Pledging to combat abuse (as a team - men and women) in our society. Most
inmates have been abused severely e.t.c. - this includes female inmates aswell as male inmates.

Begin as early as in grdary level - unfiltered education on the effects of
abuse. This would be step one. Having over 3 billion cut from our
educational system would lead me to believe that we are heading in the
opposite direction.

You see, this is another major contention I have with Harris. Not only is
he making life that much harder for those who are already struggling, but
he seemingly has absolutely no understanding with regard to "projection
costs." He is creating an ideal invironment for more abuse to occur.
Which in the long-run, costs us (as a society) far more money if it is
money that is our 100% concern.
