Lemme go waaay out on a limb [and with much supplication to the gods
of the station's studios "oh great is the power of radio broadcasting -
and great it would be of you would grant in your wisdom that some soul
or business would donate or otherwise provide shekels to buy a
working Tascam cassette deck for production. yes send us an angel...
OMMMMM". Else this will hafta be a live show and we will never be
able to really give you a good listen to the Science of Sex show,
in production as we speak :(. And that would be a bummer]. Ahhh yess indeed!

-> and let me say this:

*****************************************************************
**The intrepid members of CKCU's science collective'll
**be bringing you a show all about the community networking
**scene here in Ottawa.

--->>>>>This Thursday eve', 6:30 pm sharp.

Yes, we've been caught short financially at CKCU because of a surprise
drop in enrollment at Carleton. Any help is welcome, whether as a tax
deductable donation of money, or by providing much needed equipment.

If you think that you can help us out, please give us a call at
520-2898 with the details. As well as professional quality Cassette
decks we can REALLY use pro CD players, good ergonomical chairs for
our long-suffering staff, and computer upgrades.

Oh yes - if you can replace the ventilation and air conditioning in
the University Centre, that would be good too!

If you have ANYTHING that you think would be of value to a registered
charity that happens to be a community broadcaster, please call or
email.
