Je suis en train d'organiser des visites aux SELS d'Europe cette ete
avec ma compagne, Pauline Morrissette.
I am organizing a trip to visit European LETS this summer with my
companion Pauline Morrissette.
Nous esperons rester avec des membres de SELS et payer avec nos
billets de promesse pour de l'accomodation equivalente a Ottawa au
Canada. Nous avons deja des 32 offres sur 40 journees de voyage! Ca
marche avec le troc d'accomodations
We hope to stay with LETS members and pay with our promissory
notes for equivalent accomodations in Ottawa Canada. We already have
offers for 32 nights out of 40 nights though many can be changed.

La conference national des SELS des Etats Unis a eu lieu le weekend
passe a Chicago. Je vais faire un rapport sur quelques bones idees
reussit:
The 1999 US Local Currency Conference took place last weekend in

Il y a eu beaucoup de bonnes informations de Chicago pour les
SELs Europeens. Je gagerais que l'accroissement du SEL de Philadelphia
apres 6 mois est le nouveau record. Je gagerais qu'ils auront reussit
le record apres l'annee. On peut jouir des nouveaux records. Et
apprendre.
There was much good information from Chicago for European LETS. I
would bet that the Philadelphia Equal Dollars LETSystem has broken all
growth records in 6 months. I'll bet they'll be the top mark at the
end of one year. It's exciting to see LETS records being set. And we
learn.
Quelle priere accordee de trouver une conference nationale
americaine avec de telles nouvelles la semaine avant mon depart pour
l'Europe.
Finding out there was a National US LETS conference just five
days before leaving for Europe with such wonderful news was the answer
to a prayer.
Mais mon plus important message est l'exemple du conceil municipale de
Bradford, UK qui a gagne une subvention du Conseil Europeen. Leurs
formulaires sont a http://www.cyberclass.net/turmel/l980613.htm . Les
organisateurs de vos SELs pourraient aussi etre finances par le meme
conseil
But my first and foremost message to European LETS is to follow
the example of Bradford's City Council in obtaining funding for LETS
from the European Council in Brussels. The actual forms they filled
out are at http://www.cyberclass.net/turmel/l980613.htm . LETS
organizers could be financed in the same way.
Je pense que j'ai maintes bonnes nouvelles pour les SELs Europeens en
mentionant en meme temps mes suggestions les plus importants.
So I think I've got some wonderful new information for European
LETS as well as my standard major upgrades:
