The Super Drum is a pump-action blaster that has the ability to switch between two loads of twenty darts in its included drum. The button for this is located on the left side of the blaster, just behind the drum. Its drum is held in place with a plastic locking nub that slides back or forwards by holding down an orange button. The drum advances on the prime, and can be primed multiple times (or forced manually) to rotate it around for quick reloading purposes.

This article covers exactly how I put together this mini electronic drum set. Hopefully it can help other drummers out there who are stuck needing to practice drums in a small apartment or similar space.

The combination works well: The HH65 pedal is a classic Yamaha hi-hat pedal that does everything you could need: Foot-splash, good sensitivity from open through to closed hi-hats, and sensitivity adjustment.

Machine Overview

The 19-38 Drum Sander comes standard on the Open Stand. The drum is pre-wrapped with 80 grit sandpaper. Additional accessories and sandpaper are available for purchase. Full machine features and specs can be found below.

The 19-38 Drum Sander is an open-ended drum sander only; the drum is not interchangeable with any heads. The 19-38 Combo can be equipped with different brush heads for profile sanding (flatter brush head), distressing (wire brush head), cleaning reclaimed wood (nylon brush head), and sanding flat stock with a drum. The 19-38 Combo machine is equipped with an AC Inverter that allows the brushes to be run at variable speeds, whereas the 19-38 Drum Sander only runs at a constant speed.

All SuperMax sanders use a self-cooling drum which effectively dissipates heat from sanding, thus extending abrasive life, reducing the chance of burning and prevents over-heating and warping of the drum.

This custom drum assembly is fitted with oversize tool steel inner and outer sprag races, an oversize 36 element sprag assembly, and a custom sprag retaining plate and spiral lock ring. Modified inner race distributes lube oil to the sprag assembly more efficiently. This drum uses OEM clutches and steels. This drum has been tested behind engines producing over 2000 horsepower/1800 foot pounds torque.

Drum Genius is an app that you can get for your smartphone, tablet device or computer that allows you to play along with not just a drum machine sound, but actual sampled drummers who are playing in the style of some of the great masters.

I can actually change the tempo on Drum Genius if I want to work a little bit slower or a little bit faster or if I want to try a different groove all together. Let me try a different medium swing groove at the same tempo.

With the SuperDrum & SuperDrum Combi Bio, Air-Aqua delivers a premium total solution for Koi ponds and swimming ponds of up to 400m3. SuperDrums are drum filters without a biological aspect, and are available in a capacity of up to 100m3 per hour. The Combi Bio models are also available with a capacity of up to 100m3/hour, including a volume of up to 420 litres for biological filter material.

How it works:

The water flows through the drum sieve which removes any dirt greater than 70 or 120 microns (0.07/0.12 mm). A water level sensor detects whether sufficient water is still flowing through the drum. Should the drum sieve become too clogged, it is automatically rinsed. The trapped dirt is then removed from the sieve fully automatically by the high-pressure pump, and the dirt is transported to the sewers via the nozzles and a drainage channel. On the Combi models, the water then flows through the biological section where an air stone has already been fitted to ensure proper aeration, all in the same compact casing.

SuperDrums have very low energy consumption, small dimensions, high-quality materials and fully automatic operation. They can be buried entirely, and can be used with pump-fed applications. UV lamps can easily be fitted in the casing.

All SuperDrums are supplied with a cover, rinsing pump and control electronics, but without UV and biological filtration equipment. The SuperDrums without the biological chamber are available with both a 70 micron and a 120 micron sieve. With a coarser sieve element, the filter flushes less frequently and the capacity is greater (more m3/hour flow).
