When will the Planning Committee decide the Cawdor application?

The Cawdor application was originally provisionally pencilled in for
the March meeting of the Planning Committee, but this date has slipped
because the council is waiting for responses to its consultations from
various official bodies. The Town Council has been notified that the
Castle Motors/Lidl application will be heard in April, and that
application is expected to go through this time.

It seems unlikely now that Cawdor will make it for the April meeting,
so May would seem the best bet at the moment.

Whenever it comes, we need to make sure that we get as many people to
Carmarthen as possible. Perhaps we should hire a bus and try to get as
much razzmatazz as possible - banners, placards, klaxons... If anyone
has any good ideas, can pull a few strings to get a cheap deal on bus
hire, knows any musicians (trumpeters, drummers, jazz bands,
choirs....) who might be willing to come along and give the event some
oomph, now is the time to start planning.
