IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION

Dear Member,

ISSUANCE OF COMMERCIAL PASSPORT FOR THE USE OF SPECIAL BUSINESS
COMMUNITY

A Meeting was summoned today by the Controller General of Department
of Immigration & Emigration as he is planning to introduce a
Commercial Passport for Business Community.

This meeting was attended by me on invitation as the President of
NCE. Other organizations represented were Sri Lanka Export
development Board, Sri Lanka Tea Board, National Chamber of Small &
Medium Enterprises and the Department of Inland Revenue.

At this meeting, the Commissioner General of Department of Immigration
& Emigration requested to provide them with export statistics for 3
years, with the names of each company, in addition to names of CEOs,
Chairmen & Directors.

Therefore, please ensure that you email us these details on or before
Monday, 12th September 2011, the latest.
