ATROCITIES ON SC/ST/OBC'S at AIIMS
Dear Friends,
Brahminical forces are once again at their oppressive best in AIIMS. Constitutional violation, caste discrimination and atrocities on Dalits and other backward section are rampant in AIIMS. Kindly have a look at the number of jobs given to the SC/ST/OBCs at AIIMS, the premier medical institute of this country .

Under the tutelage of Prof. Venugopal caste oppression has become institutionalized and administration is openly propagating anti-dalit agenda. Despite numerous glaring exampies of caste oppression and denial of rights of dalit's and other backward classes in AIIMS, UPA govt., Congress party and Judiciary are conspicuous by their silence. Their role and active patronage of sustaining caste prejudice in AIIMS, has exposed their ugly manuvadi face. Few shocking examples of caste oppression in AIIMS:
1. Open desecration of books of Dr. BR Ambedkar in hostels & wide circulation of CDs of this dastardly act.
2. Deliberate failing of a MBBS student in final examination due to caste prejudice and victimization.
3. Gross violation of reserved quota and deliberate under filling of reserved posts at all levels in AIIMS (Karamchari, Students ,Doctors and Faculty)
4. AIIMS follws a unique "floating reservation" which is not used anywhere else in INDIA.
5. Flagrant vilation of all rules and regulations in selection of Senior Resident doctors, where only 24 reserved candidates were selected out of 106 posts as against 53 as mandated by GOI guidelines.
6. Beating and physical assault on dalit Doctors on 18 July when they had peacefully gone to meet the Director and implicating these doctors in a false police case.
Even, after such blatant violation, which is akin to robbery in broad daylight, Judiciary and Government of our country are sleeping. For past one year, PMSF has been waging a war against this inhuman caste oppression.
We appeal to all progressive intellectuals and citizens to join us in the Halla Bol rally to parliament to end this anarchy at AIIMS, violation of the Constitution of India and perpetuation of Caste Discrimination.
The rally starts from Mandi House to parliament on 13 th August 2007 at 1 pm.
