近期給國際交換學生的信件通知

各位政大同學，

以下是國合處提供給incoming學生的信件，

講述有關秋季入學的事，

簡單講就是上面尚未有政策，

At the moment, NCCU plans to start the Fall semester as scheduled (14 September), but some events/activities may be canceled or adapted to online mode. As for the lectures, they're planned to be taught via face to face mainly, but some courses may offer online learning options depending on the lecturers.

Nethertheless, we're still waiting for the final decision from the CDC and Ministry of Education regarding the travel ban/border control for prospective overseas students. Therefore, we suggest students not to make any plan (e.g. buying flight tickets/ looking for accommodation...) until further notice. Or you may defer your exchange if you prefer to do so.

There is uncertainty in regard to visa or travel restrictions, NCCU will follow the guidelines from the CDC and the Ministry of Education. Depending on the development of the pandemic, all overseas students may be required a 14-day quarantine upon arrival (the actual quarantine period may vary depending on the advice from CDC), but it's still under discussion. Moreover, in case that quarantine is required, NCCU is working on finding the suitable accommodation and all the relevant support methods that can be arranged for our students during the quarantine.
