Q4-2. Try “traceroute” (Mac and Linux) or ”tracert” (Windows) the IPs. To your best guess, are these 2 set of IPs (172.217.x.x and 142.251.x.x) located in the same geographic location? (Or you can NOT tell from the tracert?)

172.217.160.7 註冊在美國的 Google 公司之下，登記在 Mountain View, CA

142.251.42.238 註冊在美國的 Google 公司之下，登記在 Mountain View, CA

以上所為 “註冊” 的資訊可以經由 whois 個工具查詢到，

大家可以上去 google 這個工具，都有方便的介面可以輸入 IP 或是 domain 做查詢。

但是這是登記的資料他自從 2012 年就沒有更新過了，

並且我們在課堂上有說明 content provider 的策略。

所以在 tracert 得幫助下，我在今天做出來的結果（我都只打部分的行）是

稍微觀察一下就知道只要數個 ms 就可以得到回應，

並且他們的歷程應該會蠻相似的。

這幾個封包不似課本的例子到數百 ms，

所以可以猜測應該沒有跨海底電纜，

有很大的機會是留在台灣島內的 CDN server。

所以我的猜測是應該在同一個地理位址，

或是起碼是相近的位置。

（但如果你做出來的不太一樣，只要說明合理，猜測合理就可以了）
