Utility Services asked me to pass this along. Please share as widely as possible.

Trash, recycling collections on normal schedule week of Jan. 2

City of Columbia Solid Waste trash and recycling collections will operate on their normal Monday through Friday schedule the week of Jan. 2.

Through Jan. 31, residential curbside collection customers can set natural Christmas trees at the curb with their trash on their scheduled pickup day. During this period, the tree will not count as a bulky item.

Natural trees stripped of decorations may also be taken to one of the Yard Waste Drop-off Centers.

Residents can download the COMO Recycle and Trash app for collection day reminders and notifications. Questions concerning the collection schedule should be directed to the Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489).
