Hi All,

For the 5k run, we would be having 9 rounds of NCC. Now, we have to count the rounds taken by each person. Considering that it's a competitive event, we better be accurate.

We are grappling with a few ideas. More are welcome.

1. Give bibs & put a tick mark after every round whether on a piece of paper or an Excel file on Laptop/ tablet.

2. Give different tokens for each round. Say, round 1 has a blue token, then the runner returns the round-1 token & gets a round-2 token, till he completes the rounds & hands over the round-8 token. The problems here is what if a runner forgets in the heat of things or would it slow down serious runners trying to achieve a timing? What if they drop the token somewhere?

3. Give stickers after each round. Problem is where do they keep it. Do we chase them to stick it?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Regards,
Manoj

May be they  can use their smartphones to track the distance.
