Thanks for providing this software; seems to be working very well (so far at least ;-)!
I have a question:
When finetuning AF micro focus on certain cameras (D800, D300, ...), one way is to first use contrast AF on a good target, and then switch to LV and use software to do focus steps in either direction, to see if stepping improves the focus. If it does, the micro tune value can be updated and the procedure repeated. This is most easily done via a Moire pattern on a LCD screen, btw.
However, for this, you would want to use the smallest possible focus step.
NCC provides focus steps in increments of 10, 100 or 500 ("SmalFocusStep", "MediumFocusStep" and "LargeFocusStep"). When fine tuning, the camera range is from -20 to +20, in increments of 1.
How do you make NCC step in the smallest possible increments, corresponding to a +1 or -1 on the micro focus scale? Or is it so that the value 10 of SmalFocusStep already is the smallest possible step?
If not, can this be done without recompiling by just changing the "SmalFocusStep" in "settings.xml" file to 1 instead of 10?
Thanks in advance,
