10. Tennessee Historical Marker Dedication, "Birthplace of Bluegrass,"
outside Ryman Auditorium, 5th Ave. N. Host: Eddie Stubbs, WSM radio.
Special Guest: Earl Scruggs, only surviving participant in first public
public performance of bluegrass music December, 1945 on Grand Ole Opry.

9. Lost Coast band unofficial showcase, California Bluegrass
Association, Nashville Convention Center Room 203. (Note: Lost Coast
was Donner Mountain.) WED 1:00am (that's "early" Thursday). Free to
convention registrants.
8. Neil Rosenberg Video Interview for International Bluegrass Music
Museum. Member of Bay Area's first bluegrass band, the Redwood Canyon
Ramblers, Berkeley High School; author of definitive history book of
bluegrass music; folklore professor, University of Newfoundland.
