& Announcements
OUR PRESCHOOL MINISTRY HAS GROWN - We are
in need of WorshipCare helpers in both the 11 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
services. If you would like to help once every 3 months or more
often, please let Amanda know or contact the church office. Thanks
to those who have volunteered.
Believing, Belonging, and Becoming - the NCBC
orientation session will be on Sunday, September 28 from 9
a.m. to 12 noon.
The Frazzled Female Class will not meet Sunday, September
28.
Pint-sized Project - Sunday, evening at 6:00 p.m. in Room
312 for ages 3 years thru Kindergarten.
Youth Gathering - Sunday, after the evening worship service at
the home of Jason and Dawn Cox.
GOLDEN STATE MISSIONS OFFERING -
September is the month we emphasize Tennessee State Missions. This
offering helps our Disaster Relief Team, helps plant new
congregations in our state, and many other worthwhile ministries.
Envelopes are provided in the pew racks.
There will be a wedding shower for Cheyna Hull and Nick Mason on
Sunday, September 28 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Annex. The couple
is registered at Target, Walmart, Lowe's and The Pampered Chef.
Congratulations to proud parents, Conrad and Carol Taylor, and
family on the birth of Samuel Anderson Taylor. He was born on
September 15 and weighed 7 lbs. and 11 oz.

CONSTRUCTION
HIGHLIGHTS
Final submittal to the State Fire
Marshall of the plans for the Multi Purpose building has been made.
Initial work will begin next week on the foundation excavations.
Full approval is expected in about two weeks.
Framing is complete in the sanctuary basement and has passed
inspection. Wall insulation and sheetrock will be in progress this
week. Electrical and communication wiring rough-ins are near
completion. The new retainer walls and the concrete walk to the
basement entry from the Annex will be in progress by early next
week. Projected completion of the new offices is early November.
The rock base and the asphalt paving will be complete for a major
portion of the new south parking lot this week, weather permitting.
This lot should be available for parking use on Sunday.
