CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PROGRESS

· The architect has reviewed the Multi Purpose building plans in person with the State Fire Marshall and determined the requirements to obtain approval. Changes are being made to the plans to incorporate the revisions and final approval by the State Fire Marshall is expected in early October.
· Demolition activities are expected to be complete this week in the basement of the sanctuary and construction of the new office suite and choir rooms will begin next week. The new retainer walls and the concrete walk to the basement entry from the Annex will be in progress late this week, weather permitting.
· Grade work for the parking lot expansion south of the Annex is in progress. Once the grades are completed and the upgrades are made to the drainage structures, the rock base and a temporary binder coat of asphalt will be placed so the church can use the lot during the remainder of construction.
