Reminders for the Week - August 5, 2019

Hi everyone!

I pray that you are well in the Lord! It has been a busy week, with much to pray for. Never stop praying! Keep up with your relationship with the Lord, through constant/regular time with His Word!

We have many things going on this week, and this month! Let’s get into it:

Baptism Service - Sunday, August 11, 2019, 11:30am

This coming Sunday, we will be having a baptism service at 11:30am, joint with the rest of the body of Christ, in the Main Sanctuary! This will be a great opportunity to celebrate commitments to the Lord before the faith family!

If you want to be baptized, or have questions on what it is about, please contact Pastor Raymond (raymo...@gmail.com), or come out to the baptism class on Saturday morning, 9:30am, in room 36!

This week’s theme: Jonathan Warns David (1 Samuel 20)

Last week, we talked about the David and Goliath narrative, and how God sees it NOT as an impossible situation, but truly as a large victory for the Lord! We can trust in God’s insight, especially in the calling He places on us!

This week, we go one step further, examining the relationship David has with Jonathan. What is the Lord revealing to you through this story? Let’s find out together!

Ginosko Classes -  Continuing this week (Wednesdays or Fridays, 7:00pm, Vision Chapel)

I encourage you to join in the Ginosko class this week! It will be a great time to get back to the fundamentals of faith in Christ. We have just finished the 5 Assurances, and now we begin the series with what we do next!

Prayer Requests

• Continue to pray for Amanda Steil’s family, as they grieve the loss of a wife/mother. Pray for the children to find community in our church body.
• Pray for the Japan/Korea Mission Team. They will be wrapping up their ministry this week, returning on Saturday. Pray that they are able to finish strong. Pray against physical ailments. Pray for stronger team unity.
