Information from the Sunday event

Hi Friends and Parents,

The information from Sunday's event for visiting parents and seniors
is available on our website now at: http://www.ncamerican.org.

It includes a Youtube video series on the panel talk, slides from one
speaker, recommended sites from our speakers and a life story from the
audience on how to apply for MediCal. Thank the volunteers from the
audience who took the video/wrote up the story, and our speakers who
prepared the slides and info.

For those that wasn't able to make to the event or wasn't able to get
in ( we apologize again for the overwhelming attendance ), some
guidance on the Youtube video series:

We have 3 speakers, each covering a different topic, the first speaker
talks about American life, more geared for visiting parents, the 2nd
speaker covers medical services available, the 3rd speaker covers
medical insurance. So pick the video clip that fits your needs.

This isn't the only event for visiting parents and seniors, but the
beginning of it. We are going to follow up, and by the principle of
aid and self-aid, most probably you ( or any participant of the
program ) would be expected to get involved in the organization and
scheduling by turns, we would welcome senior's involvement in the
planning as well. We need everybody's participation to get this
moving.

And because that we are a pretty new group with a limited budget,
emails would be the fastest way to get updated with event info. So if
you have friends interested in related events also, please ask them to
subscribe to our event list.
