Minutes from Nov. 15 Meeting

Attached are the minutes from Nov. 15th.  It was great to see new faces at our meeting and to hear of renewed interest from some of you.  THANK YOU.  It "keeps us going."

PLEASE:  YOU MAY BE NEEDED........We may soon be participating in an effort to lobby Obama to settle an important case in Oregon involving 21 children who have sued the fed gov't for a violation of what is call the public trust law which states the gov't is supposed to protect the public trust (natural resources like air, water, land, trees, etc) for us.  This case has made it through two appeals by the fed gov't and fossil fuel companies to have it dismissed and IS GOING TO TRIAL.   If Obama were to settle before leaving office, he could leave a legacy of protecting the future.  This is hopeful news because it would LEGALLY BIND Trump to address climate change.  Obviously he could appeal it, and even if Obama does not settle keep in mind Trump would have to find credible witnesses to testify climate change is a hoax, etc, and lying in court is called "perjury."  But it is hopeful news...

Right now, I and some others from around the state are investigating the best way to support this case.  SO PLEASE STAY TUNED............More to come!  Thanks for "being there."
