C++ DEVELOPER Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
C++ object-oriented software development in Windows and Linux environments Use of STL and/or Boost for C++ development Familiar with the use of middleware in distributed applications Demonstrable Object Oriented (OO) design skills and use of design patterns Familiarity with Software Engineering Life Cycle Models Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse and SVN Ability to work in a team environment and follow recognized software engineering practices Strong analytical skills Self-motivation with the ability to work with limited supervision and oversight
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Development of a map-centric user interface (e.g. NASA World Wind, RaptorX, FalconView) Scripting experience working with Python Digital signal processing (advanced coursework and/or work experience) Software-defined radio (SDR) development (examples: GnuRadio, REDHAWK, OSSIE) Working with databases and SQL Development of client-server implementations
EDUCATION:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or related discipline
