Coworkers Unite!

Just a quick note to thank everyone in the group for supporting the
coworking initiative for the solopreneurs.

I think the meeting went well and I was really impressed with the
energy and dynamics of everyone who attended. The cookies, tea and
chocolate were yummy too,

In a nutshell, everyone seemed interested in coworking, some saw
future possibilities, and a few people are ready to take the plunge
now. For the month of February, there will be at least three
solopreneurs and 3-4 Velocity7 staff in the mix, although I do not
anticipate that there will be 7 people in the office regularly.

We encouraged people to join the group here so we have a central
communication hub. I plan on sending reminders out and thinking of
other professionals that might want to join us here.

As a group, we decided to move forward slowly and see how things grow
organically. February may be a settling in month and should give
people sharing the office time to kick around some fresh ideas. I'd
like to continue thinking about what the right mix of collaboration
(think co-op) and management is.

I'll keep you posted on the important and the unexpected.
