Hi All,

A holiday party for Solopreneur-types sounds like a great idea to me,
too. Unfortunately, I probably won't have time to attend, and I
definitely don't have enough time to organize it. Is anyone willing to
run with this?

Re: Next month's topic: Some discussion and tips and so on on handling
contracts sounds like a good idea. I'll be out of town (but still
working) from November 24th through December 6th; given the topic, it
would be a good idea to have a law-type person present, even though
their advice will be, "Hire a lawyer" -- which I don't necessarily
agree always has to happen. Does anyone know anyone who might be
willing to be the legal expert for this?

Finally: my own business is heating up a lot lately, and I'm afraid
that I'm going to be really short on free time for a couple of months.
I'd really hate to see our fledgling club falter because I can't give
it my full attention; anybody willing to help?

Thanks,

- R.

Hi -
I can host a holiday party/meeting at my place if we do it sometime that is not Wednesday. Or we can dispense with the meeting part entirely and just drink eggnog and gripe about our non-existent co-workers. Would anyone be interested in a Saturday or Sunday night Winter Holiday of Your Choice get-together?

(If we do it Sunday, Rob can be there. But no pressure.)

Sunday nights are out for me, and Saturday nights can get pretty full in December.  It would be nice to get to know you all better, and I don’t know if I could make it to a party or not.

Maybe someone could put out a couple of days/times/locations, and see how many say yes.

Hi All,

I haven't been active in the group yet, but I just wanted to check in and say I'd be up for a holiday party or get-together. Whatever night is fine for me, generally speaking.

Be well, be free,

How's about December 12 or 13 evening? That's a Friday and Saturday night.

It’s possible that I’ll be out of town that weekend.  I don’t know yet.  But it seems like settling on this date and then seeing who can come would be better than many rounds of emails going to everyone.

Blessings,

Brooke
