A holiday party for Solopreneur-types sounds like a great idea to me,
too. Unfortunately, I probably won't have time to attend, and I
definitely don't have enough time to organize it. Is anyone willing to
run with this?
Re: Next month's topic: Some discussion and tips and so on on handling
contracts sounds like a good idea. I'll be out of town (but still
working) from November 24th through December 6th; given the topic, it
would be a good idea to have a law-type person present, even though
their advice will be, "Hire a lawyer" -- which I don't necessarily
agree always has to happen. Does anyone know anyone who might be
willing to be the legal expert for this?
Finally: my own business is heating up a lot lately, and I'm afraid
that I'm going to be really short on free time for a couple of months.
I'd really hate to see our fledgling club falter because I can't give
it my full attention; anybody willing to help?
Thanks,
- R.

Sunday nights are out for me, and Saturday nights can get pretty full in December. It would be nice to get to know you all better, and I don’t know if I could make it to a party or not.
Maybe someone could put out a couple of days/times/locations, and see how many say yes.

It’s possible that I’ll be out of town that weekend. I don’t know yet. But it seems like settling on this date and then seeing who can come would be better than many rounds of emails going to everyone.
Blessings,
