I ran across a video lecture at [
http://network.businessofsoftware.org/video/video/show?id=2352433%3AVideo%3A2016
]. Jason Fried from 37Signals (a popular, successful small software
company with some unconventional business practices) speaks on various
aspects of business. Some of it is oriented towards software
businesses, but most of it applies equally well to small businesses in
lots of other markets. (Kady, he spends a few minutes talking about
chefs too!) It's a little bit long, somewhere around an hour, but if
you can make the time I think it's worth it.
Also: the mailing list has been pretty quiet lately, and I'd like to
make sure that everyone's getting something useful out of it. I spend
a fair bit of my time keeping track of both business and technical
news from lots of different sources ... is anyone interested in
receiving more of this kind of stuff on the list?
Thanks,
- R.
