I met with Gil last week and looked at the offices, and wanted to
share with you some of the new information I've got.
Currently, there are 6 office spaces. NCERC is working to manage it
under its new SiteShare program. If all 6 can get filled -- or even if
4 or 5 get filled, with good prospects for the remaining spaces --
then they can drop the price down to $150/month. The offices are
available today.
They don't have any problems with people sharing spaces.
The offices are already furnished, including cubicle walls. You can
take them down if you'd prefer a more open layout, or leave them up if
you'd like privacy. The office space is pretty much brand new; it's
very presentable, and I'd be proud to host a client meeting there.
Internet connection is included in the price.
Everybody will get an access code to the building, and you'll be able
to come and go as you like 24 hours a day.
Folks, this is a really good deal. Some people can be productive while
working from home; I'm not one of them. In my own case, I expect to
gain enough in fresh productivity to more than make up for the rental
price. So, I've put myself on the hook for getting one of the slots at
the end of this month, and Gil is pretty sure he can fill a second one
with someone else. If we can fill a few more desks, the price will
drop for everyone and we will have contributed to a major new program
in Nevada County. So, even if this isn't the right fit for you, if
