Hi all,

First, I regret that things have been so quiet here in recent weeks.
My own company has been seeing some explosive growth, and I haven't
had any time to focus on other projects. However, that's all about to
settle down again, and I'll finally be able to put some more attention
here.

In case you missed it, The Union did a business feature on our
co-working space in Nevada City
[http://www.theunion.com/article/20090316/WEBUPDATE/903169985/1005/NONE&parentprofile=1053&title=Cooperating%20together,%20individually].
They neglected to include any contact information for us (aaargh!),
but it did still give the co-working project some exposure. Yay!
Thanks to Robert Trent from Velocity 7 for organizing that. We're
still looking at new spaces and discussing what we each think a
co-working space should look like in our community.

Also, a link came down through my startup news wires that I thought
was pretty interesting: Startup Weekend!
[http://startupweekend.com/about/] Take a group of energetic
solopreneurs, stick them together for a weekend, shake and stir, and
see what comes out.

I found the link by way of an interesting blog post on the many hats
that a startup founder has to wear. The post is heavily slanted
towards the whole web-2.0-overnight-startup thing, but I think it's
pretty useful for solopreneurs in any field to think about the
different roles they have to fulfill, and how that can get
overwhelming: http://micahelliott.blogspot.com/2008/05/web-startup-surgeons.html

Thanks,

- R.
