Hi Louise,
I can probably help you out. I wrote the code for the photo gallery
application at http://davidmckayphotography.com/ as well as a bunch of
other projects. I'm comfortable with basics like cross-browser JS,
modifying element css via JavaScript, objects, etc. up to more
advanced topics like closures (the "right" way to do AJAX). I've been
doing computer programming for a long, long time. :-)
