Over the last 6 months or so, the following routes haev become (re)activated.
Big Hot and the SR600 Abbrev are the only reincarneted routes from the old permanents program listed below.

Earlies Gap and Doggett Gap, 100km

I'm working to keep a fresh batch of routes in the queue; both for permanents and brevet routes.

Finally, a "flat" ride in Asheville:
For a FASTER attempt, you might keep straight on Swannana River Rd @ mile 49 and skip the loop around the golfcourse.
It's permitted to take a longer detour on a permanent, just not a shortcut.

The route travels out and back to Marshall along the river road.
Marshall was an important stop on the Buncombe Turnpike, or Old Drovers' Road. They used the Turnpike to commute up and down the road that stretched from South Carolina to Tennessee, to markets in the region. Thousands of drovers with their hogs, sheep, horses, mules and turkeys passed through Marshall along the French Broad River each year.

There aren't many 300k perms available to ride so I brought this one back from the dead.
It starts/ends in Marshall (20 minutes from Asheville).

An update to the historical People's Peachoid...
We bring you the King of Peaches:
King of Peaches
RwGPS route
Route starts at the Burger King in West Asheville.
The route is a copy of the Millions of Peaches 300km we're running this weekend except the start/finish.
The approach to Cowpens is quieter and safer.
You'll still catch the big ol' Peach but you'll approach it on safer/quiter roads.
And the approach into Spindale is on the greenway.
