This is the time of year when Martin and I would kid each other about riding Triple L (Leesville - Leasburg - Leesville), a 200K permanent that we did in July of 2010 when the temps reached 101F.  We consumed 4+ gallons of water each and I barely finished with 5 minutes to spare.  Martin came in about 10 minutes late so did not get credit.  Talk about a sufferfest!
