Hi everyone,

I added a few more events to the Raleigh area calendar.

The first is a Dart Populaire on July 18th. Start time TBD, routes are being worked on now and there should be a few teams. I'll probably be one of the ride captains and at the moment I'm leaning towards the Cary route. The dart will count towards a P-12 if you're working on that.

The tentative routes can be found here. https://ridewithgps.com/collections/10185407?privacy_code=WTv2aFSFIIng6abfVkG3x1Bj1XJYjWAL

The next one is one Aug 22nd, it's the RUSA anniversary ride and cookout. Same route that was done back in March. I just updated the Raleigh Rando website with those 2 events, https://raleighrando.web.unc.edu/185-2/

Sept 26 - 200k - Same route as was done in March, Morrisville to Siler City and return. 6330 feet of climbing

Oct 24 - 300k - Same route as Apr 18, Morrisville to Siler City, Seagrove and return. 8000 feet of climbing.

While these are not 2027 PBP qualifying rides, they will help riders secure pre-registration slots based on their longest completed ride this year, 2026.

I'll be updating the website in the next day or two for the 200/300k.

Best, Mike O

Aw man, darts & flècehes are the best! And aiming for Saxapahaw is so cool. (Keep in mind that the "Saturdays in Saxapahaw" concerts are in swing later in the day, so plan accordingly.)

Thanks Mike, John, and Brian for making all of these rides possible!

I can't join y'all this time around due to a persistent pinched nerve, but I hope to ride with you all nice & slow soon- fingers crossed.

Thanks again,

Branson

I once heard it stated by a wise individual (alright I'll just say it - it was Branson) that a Dart Pop is, and I quote, "the most fun you can have on a bike". I tend to agree. Next weekend! Not too late to get on a team if anyone is still on the fence, let me know!

If anyone is unable to ride that morning for whatever reason it would still be awesome if folks wanted to come out to meet us for Saturdays at Saxapahaw! I'd love to see some of you out there.
